We need to practice becoming unconditional in our love for our Beloved (God) because of our hardcore selfishness. In every pore and fiber of our being is only selfishness. That is why there’s khatpat khatpat (disturbance) day and night at home, and charity begins at home. We can’t practice unconditional love with the material people, and I’m not asking you to do that. It can only be practiced with Shyamsundar, with Shri Krishna. But at least in your sadhana bhakti you should start to intensify your love for your Beloved.
Your surrender should be true, and the path that we are already treading of raganuga bhakti, under the guidance of ragatmika Mahapurush of madhurya bhav and unconditional love, we should already not only consider, but start to practice because life is too short…too short. We can’t wait for tomorrow. We have to practice now. The little knowledge that we get must be put into practice immediately, instantly.
And this khatpat, all these arguments, these fights, that happen between your spouse or your children at home (you should) start to sit and think about it deeply. Don’t listen to Tom, Dick, and Harry. Think about it. Reflect on Shree Maharaj Ji’s teachings and instructions as to how to even live life in this world. Shree Maharaj Ji says,
“If one person says something and continues to say something, suppose repeatedly, we say, “If we don’t talk back, then he will sit on my head!.””
Maharaj Ji says, “Rubbish! Absolute nonsense! Seal your lips and your tongue. Don’t speak back! Think! Think of the philosophy.”
That is why siddhant is so important. We want to sing the bhajans, we want to listen to all these beautiful leelas, but (if) your siddhant is very weak you’ll fall. You’ll fail.
You enter into the final extreme state of bhav bhakti, where there is 99.99% bhav bhakti, only 0.001% left to attain prem bhakti. We’ll fall from there if our sadhana is not strong, if our siddhanta is not strong.
