The wise, the sincere devotees ...

The wise, the sincere devotees, they only enjoy and drink the ras, the nectar of the divine pastimes, and learn the teachings from there and put it in their lives. They enjoy and thoroughly get drowned in the Ram Leela, in Krishna Leela, in the divine pastimes. But the foolish, the deluded ones, all the ifs and the buts are there.

They apply their intellect, they intellectualize, they argue, they debate. These are jada, means moorkh log, means the deluded fools. Thus Bhagwan, nothing about God, nothing about Bhagwan can ever be comprehended by us.

So know the one reason behind even Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra) is to teach us lessons that what is demonic character, what can be evilness, how far can evilness go. It takes right up to Ravana to teach us that and in such situations, conditions then we as human beings, what should we do? Take shelter at the lotus feet of God. Without that, there is no other way, no opening. Koi chaara nahi hai (there is no option).

All the greatest of the sages and saints like Vashishtha, like Vishwamitra, like Maharishi Bharadwaj, etc. Maharishi Agastya, etc., they all took shelter at the lotus feet of Prabhu Ramachandra ji because they even could not do their tapasya (penance), their powers, their bhakti, could not confront with the evilness of such high nature. So if we are confronted with this kind of evilness, who will help us? What will help us? Our devotion, our surrender to the supreme almighty Godhead personality. This is the crux of the teaching.
