The Rasiks (Divine Saints of Divine love) of Braj (Divine land of Krishna) say that once, during the scorching heat, when it started raining a little bit in the month of July, Shri Radharani (Krishna’s Divine consort) wanted to go out just for walking, to have fresh breeze and everything, and the gopis could know that She wants to go out. Then, they prepared a beautiful wooden chariot for her, and decorated it with different kinds of flowers: the lotus, the rose, all the fragrant flowers. They decorated the rath (chariot).
When Shri Krishna (the Supreme Lord) came to know that they were making the preparations for the procession of Shri Radharani, then He also appeared over there. He also came over there immediately,
“Oh, why should I miss it?”
And at that time there were no horses, so the gopis started pulling it; they pulled it. Shri Krishna also wanted to do that, but they didn’t let Him do that. So poor Shri Krishna was just dancing, and He was welcoming Shri Radharani. When the chariot was going, then Shri Krishna was welcoming Shri Radharani.
And you know what He was doing? (It was so) very special. He put down His crown, and He was cleaning the way for Shri Radha (short form of Radharani) because this duty was not taken by any gopi, so He found one seva for Himself. So He put down His crown; He was cleaning the way for Shri Radharani, and again and again He was saying:
Boliye… (Say…)
Shree Radha Rani Ki… Jai
Hamari Maharanī Ki… Jai
Hamari Swaminī Ki… Jai
So he was saying like that again and again. This seva was given to Shree Krishna.
