Once He (Shri Krishna) gives (His) Divine love, you become His forever. Forever. He’s chitchor. He steals the heart. Forever. The soul is no longer free. Shri Krishna is no longer free and the soul is no longer free also.
अहं भक्तपराधीनो ह्यस्वतन्त्र इव द्विज । साधुभिर्ग्रस्तहृदयो भक्तैर्भक्तजनप्रिय: ॥
Ahaṁ bhakt-parādhīno hyasvatantra iva dwij. Sādhubhir grast-hṛidayo bhaktair bhakt-jan-priyaḥ.- Bhagvatam 9.4.63
Shri Krishna is admitting, He is saying to Durvasa, “Durvasa, I am no longer free.”
Ah, the scripture says,
परम स्वतंत्र न सिर पर कोई।
Param swatantra na sir par ko-ī.
- Ramayan
That “Shri Krishna is supremely independent, free. No one and nothing controls Him.”
Ah, yes Durvasa. But, there is a subsection. That's the rule. There is a subsection. What's the subsection? When someone loves Me selflessly, like the Gopis, like Ambarish, then I am no longer free. The devotee ties me up with the cord, the cord of his love. Binds me and makes me dance as a monkey dances to the tune of the trainer. I am no longer (free), whatever the devotee wants, I have to do. So, the devotee gets bounded and Krishna gets bounded. I told you in the Gita, Shri Krishna says,
ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् |
Ye yathā māṁ prapadyante tāns tathaiva bhajāmyaham.- Gita 4.11
Shri Krishna is saying with a challenge, “How a devotee loves Me, with whatever feeling, I have to return that love in the same way, in the same amount, in the same feeling. I have no choice.”
In the world, a boy loves a girl, a girl loves a boy. He is loving this girl, the girl has no idea. And then she gets married to somebody else. And then he complains, “I love you so much, but I have no idea!” And then they can claim, “Okay, I love you, and then after a while, I don't love you anymore! You love me, that's fine, but I don't love you. Get lost!”
Nah, nah, (No, no) in the Divine world, this does not work. Shri Krishna says, “You love Me, I have to love you. I have no choice.”
We don't have to think and ask, “I wonder if Shri Krishna loves me? I wonder if Radha Rani loves me? I wonder if Shri Ram loves me?” We don't have to think. All we have to do is ask ourselves, “Do I love Krishna? Do I love Radha Rani? Do I love Shri Ram? And how much?” If I love so much (small amount) but I want so much (large amount). Nah, nah, nah. (No, no, no) If I want so much, then I have to love so much. I can't love this amount (small) and expect to get this amount (large).
So all we have to ask ourselves, “How much do I love Shri Krishna? How much do I love Shri Ram? How much do I love Radha Rani?”
