The supreme grace comes from God in the form of: #1.We in the human form, and #2, in this human form if we can meet with a Sadguru (true Divine Guru), which is with God’s grace alone. You cannot go with this dirty material intellect of yours and say,
“Okay, I’ll test these Gurus and see which one is the right Guru and which one makes more sense to me.”
If you are tamasic (dominated by ignorance), the tamasic guru will make more sense to you. If the predominance of your intellect is rajasic (dominated by passion), then a rajasic guru will make more sense to you. If the predominance of your intellect is sattvic (dominated by purity), then a sattvic guru will make sense to you and they’re all mayic (under the influence of maya or illusion). They will go to hell and you’ll go to hell as well.
A Divine personality cannot be understood by us. Not a single word should make sense to us. Not a single action should make any sense to us. Their ways are crooked. Because he looks like a human. He is God amongst us. He is our Guru.
यस्य साक्षाद्भगवति ज्ञानदीपप्रदे गुरौ ।
मर्त्यासद्धी: श्रुतं तस्य सर्वं कुञ्जरशौचवत् ॥
Yasya sākṣhād bhagavati gyānadīpa-prade gurau.
Martyāsad-dhīḥ śhrutaṁ tasya sarvaṁ kuñjara-śhaucavat.- Bhagwatam 7.15.26
एष वै भगवान्साक्षात् प्रधानपुरुषेश्वर: ।
योगेश्वरैर्विमृग्याङ्घ्रिर्लोको यं मन्यते नरम् ॥
Eṣa vai bhagavān sākṣhāt pradhāna-puruṣheśhvaraḥ.
Yogeśhvarair vimṛigyāṅghrir loko yaṁ manyate naram.- Bhagwatam 7.15.27
आचार्यं मां विजानीयान्नावमन्येत कर्हिचित् ।
न मर्त्यबुद्ध्यासूयेत सर्वदेवमयो गुरु: ॥
Āchāryaṁ māṁ vijānīyān navamanyet karhichit.
Na martya-buddhyāsūyet sarva-devmayo guruḥ.- Bhagwatam 11.17.27
Lord Krishna Himself declares: “Know the Guru to be Me. It’s not My other form. It is Me who comes as Acharya (spiritual teacher).”
Don’t apply human intellect there. Don’t try to measure them with your dirty mind, with your material mind. Thus, the supreme Godhead personality comes in the form of the supreme Acharya. And with His grace alone, He reveals this Guru form to the deserving soul.
