There are 11 religions in the world right now, but they will all say ‘God is everywhere’, ‘the Lord is present everywhere’, but we do not give up our privacy.
(We think,) “No one knows what I am thinking.”
(For example) I am thinking, “Why is he coming to me?” (Shri Maharaj Ji depicts the displeasure that a certain man is coming to visit him.)
And when he came, “Come, come, sir, you never come to me!” (Shri Maharaj Ji depicts the fake happiness of the man.)
Our intellect spent the whole day learning this trickery, and our whole life has passed by. And God says, “Become innocent again like when you were born.”
Have you forgotten? Yes, you have forgotten. Let me remind you.
One day, your mother said, “Son, when the neighbor comes, tell her that mommy is not at home.”
(The child said,) “Really?”
So that's what happened. So then the neighbor came, and you said to the neighbor, “Mommy said that when the neighbor comes, I should tell her that she is not at home.” The neighbor smiled and left.
But mommy was listening and gave him a slap, "You've become so grown up, foolish boy, and do not have a sense of how to speak? You shouldn’t say that mommy told you!”
And now the boy thinks, “Why did she say that? Mommy did tell me! Why is she telling me to hide something and tell the rest?”
We learned trickery, from mother, father, brother, sister, neighbor, then in school, college, then from books and now our head became a storehouse of fraud, and we are called very advanced, an expert! What a thing!
God says, “Leave all this nonsense you have learned. Then become an innocent child once again like a child cries only to his mother.” A 10 or 20 day old child doesn’t even know what a mother is.
“I am hungry. What can I do? I do not know how to speak. So I cried.”
That's it। Those who went to God with only the strength to cry became Tulsi, Soordas, Meera, Kabir, Nanak, Tukaram, and the one who went with strength, then God says, “This will not work!”
So if you do your sadhana (spiritual practice) like this, you will attain your goal.
