Question: Whenever I Do Roopdhyan I See a Peacock Sitting

Swami Nikhilanand Ji _ 07.12.2020

A devotee’s question: When I try to do roopdhyan, I see a peacock sitting.

Swami Nikhilanand Ji’s answer: So whatever roopdhyan she’s trying to do, the peacock keeps coming.

So that’s fine, as long as you just feel that this is Krishna’s peacock, or it’s a peacock from the Divine abode, or maybe it’s Krishna Himself in the form of that peacock. We know, we’ve heard Leelas, where Krishna Himself becomes a peacock.

So Maharaji has told us many times when it comes to roopdhyan, this practical technique, that wherever your mind goes, just feel that Krishna is there, or see Krishna there. So whatever the mind is thinking of, transform that into devotion.

If it’s a peacock, great. If it’s some other scene in the modern world, no problem, just put Krishna there. So wherever your mind goes, turn that into a devotional scene by including Hari and Guru in that.
