Sir par pīt pāg ati ṭeṛhī, ṭeṛhī paṭ phaharān re.
The yellow coloured turban on His head is tilted to one side and the fluttering folded yellow silk cloth around His neck is also crooked.
Rasik raṅgīlī chitavani ṭeṛhī, ṭeṛhī bhṛikuṭi kamān re.
The glances of this Crest Jewel of Rasikas, who is ever engaged in amorous pastimes, are crooked and so are His arched eyebrows.
Grīv kapot murani ati ṭeṛhī, ṭeṛhī mṛidu musakān re.
His beautiful neck which is slender like a pigeon’s is tilted to one side and His mischievous smile is crooked too.
Sughar nāsikā besar ṭeṛhī, ṭeṛhī lar motiyān re.
The nose-pendant swinging from His beautiful nose is tilted and the necklace of pearls on His chest is crooked.
Kaṭi kiṅkinī pag pāyal ṭeṛhī, ṭeṛhī muralihuṁ jān re.
The anklets on His feet and the kinkiņī on His hips are also crooked and His flute is held at a slant too.
Gati mati rati “Kripalu” sab ṭeṛhī, kahaṁ lauṁ kariya bakhān re.
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, “To what extent can I continue - even His walk, His intellect and His ways of love, are all extremely crooked!”
