My mind has been captivated by Manmohan Shree Krishna.
Barajī sakhī, jāhu jani tahāṁ kahuṁ, man-mohan man moh nā.
A friend had warned me not to go near Him, as He would enchant my mind completely.
Puni soi kahī, jāhu jo to sakhī, nainan mohan joh nā.
She further said, “If you do go there, never look at Him at all.
Hauṁ nahiṁ mānī, kiya manmānī, jānī nahiṁ as sohanā.
I did not listen, and acted whimsically, totally unaware that someone could be that beautiful.
Lakhat hiṁ bhaī vikal ut, it yah, ḍar kahuṁ hoya bichhoh nā.
I became extremely restless the moment I saw Him and along with that, the fear of losing Him arose in my heart.
Dharu ‘Kripalu’ ur dhīr, nirāshā, prem māhiṁ sakhi! soh nā.
Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj gently advises, “O sakhī! Make your heart steadfast. Despair is unbecoming, on the path of love.”
