Lakhi ras-barsāno barsāno, koṭin Brahmānand lajāy.
After seeing the bliss that pours in Barsana, the bliss of the impersonal Brahm multiplied countless times is shamed in comparison!
Mahābhāvarūpiṇi Shrī Rādhe.
Shri Radha is Mahabhav (highest level of divine love) personified.
Prem-sudhā-nidhi, roop-agādhe.
She is the veritable repository of the nectar of divine love and a boundless ocean of beauty.
Pūraṇ-Brahm jāhi ārādhe.
She is worshipped by the Supreme Lord Himself!
Shrīvriṣhabhānubhūp ghar prakaṭī, prem-dān hit āy.
She has appeared in the home of King Vrishabhānu, especially to deliver utterly selfless divine love in Braj.
Jehi, ‘aj alakh’ nigam nit gāyo.
That Supreme Entity that the Vedas have described as UNBORN and IMPERCEPTIBLE.
So Braj, Nand-gop ghar jāyo.
Appeared in Braj in the home of the cowherd, Nandbaba.
Jehi vidhi, Hari har khoji na pāyo.
The Supreme Brahm, who could not be attained by Brahmā, Vişhņu and Śhankara in spite of vigorous spiritual disciplines.
Soū Brahm, Swāminihiṇ khojat, gahavar galiyan māy.
He is seen searching for His Svāminī, Shrī Rādhikā, in the lanes of Gahavaravan.
Pīri-pokhar, prem-sarovar.
Barasānā abounds in places of incomparable beauty like Piri Pokhara, Prema Sarovara.
Latā-kuñj-gahavar, Bhānūkhar.
The creeper groves of Gahavaravana and Vrishabhānu Kund.
Mālini, yogini roop vividh dhar.
Where the Supreme Lord puts on various disguises as a female flower-seller, female yogi and so on,
Brahm rijhāvat, nij Swāmini ko, ur ānand na samāy.
to gain an audience with Kishori Ji and pleases Her in various ways feeling beside Himself with joy.
‘Hā hā’ khāt, nihorat sakhiyan.
He entreats the Sakhīs.
Neku dikhāu lalihiṇ in aṅkhiyan.
Just give these eyes a glimpse of Lalī,
Madhu pilāvu chhavi drig madhu-makhiyan.
Because they are like honey bees desiring the sweet nectar of Her beauty!
Lalitahiṇ charaṇ paloṭat lakhi lakhi, lāl nain lalchāy.
His eyes gaze longingly at the sight of Lalitā massaging Kishori Ji’s feet, since He desires to do the same.
Rādhā-raṅg mahal ke māhīṇ.
In the inner chambers of Kishori Ji’s palace,
Raj jhārat nij mukuṭ sadā hīṁ.
Shyamsundar sweeps the sacred dust off the floors with His peacock-feathered crown.
Kripā manāvatahūṁ ḍarapāhīṁ.
And begs for Her mercy (in the form of bestowal of mādan love).
Nit ‘Kripālu’ māninihiṁ manāvat, Brahm drigan jhari lāy.
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj further adds, “Whenever Kishorī Jī does maan, Śhyamsundar always attempts to appease Her, shedding cascade of tears.”
