Dou kah dou prāṇ hamār, guru mahimā aparampār.
The Guru adores Nandkumar Krishna and Krishna adores my Guru. Both Guru and Krishna say that they are the life breath of each other. The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Guru rah ur Nandkumār, guru ur rah Hari rijhvār.
Dou karuṇā kō bhaṇḍār, guru mahimā aparampār.
Guru resides in the heart of Nandkumar Krishna and Krishna resides in the heart of Guru. Both Guru and Krishna are the ocean of compassion. The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Guru chah sukh Nandkumār, guruvar sukh chah rijhavār.
Hari guru dou prāṇādhār, guru mahimā aparampār.
The Guru always desires Krishna's happiness and Krishna is happy in Guru's happiness. Both Krishna and Guru are the life of my soul. The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Guru mile kṛipā rijhvār, guru kṛipā mile sarkār.
Dou kṛipā roop sākār, guru mahimā aparampār.
A soul finds Guru with the Grace of Krishna and one finds Krishna with the Grace of a Guru. Both my Guru and Krishna are the personified form of Grace. The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Guru kah bhaju Nandkumār, guru kahaṁ bhaju kah rijhvār.
Dou dāsya dharm ur dhār, guru mahimā aparampār.
Guru teaches the souls to surrender to Krishna and Krishna tells the souls to surrender to Guru. A devotee should wholeheartedly serve both. The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Guru patitan soṁ kar pyār, Hari nirmal jan ko yār.
Yah antar sujan vichār, guru mahimā aparampār.
Guru embraces fallen souls while Krishna Graces only those souls whose hearts are fully purified. O souls! understand the above difference (between Guru and Krishna). The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Yah hai bhavasindhu apār, nar deh nāv anuhār.
Nāvik sadguru sarkār, guru mahimā aparampār.
This cosmic ocean of maya is limitless and the human form is like a boat which can enable a soul to cross it. Guru is like the helmsman of this boat (helps the soul to cross this mayic ocean). The glory of my Guru is boundless.
Jo samajhā de śhruti sār, ur bharā prēm rijhavār.
Soi hai sadguru sarakār, guru soi 'Kṛipālu' sarkār.
A true Guru is the one who can give the clear knowledge of the scriptures and whose heart is always filled with the Divine love of Krishna. Jagadguru Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj says that such a Divine personality is the true spiritual master who graces the souls.
