Aiso prem baḍhyo Brajvāsin, jāmeņ brahm rahyo bharamāy.
The love of the brajvāsīs is so superior, that even the Supreme Lord is allured by it!
Vipran vidhivat yagya karāvat. Vaidik-mantran brahm bulāvat.
He will not go to accept the offerings of food from Brahmanas, conducting sacrifices strictly according to Vedic injunctions and reciting Vedic hymns to invoke His appearance,
Tahaṁ na jāy ṭuk bhog lagāvat. Pai un panihārini nidratahūṁ, chorī-chorī dadhi khāy.
but He goes to steal the yoghurt of the Gopis of Braj when they go to fetch water, in spite of being insulted by them!
Devavṛind viradāvali gāvat. Aganit gungan gāi sunāvat.
The groups of celestial gods always sing the infinite glories of the Supreme Lord through eulogies and panegyrics, lauding His supreme Divine virtues,
So suni sapnehūṁ nahiņ man bhāvat. Pai un Brajanārin gārin suni, loṭ-poṭ hwai jāy.
but it gives Him not the slightest pleasure even in His dreams (because they simply worship Him for their protection). Nevertheless, He feels beside Himself with joy listening to the rebukes of the Gopis of Braja (because of their exclusive love)!
Yogī paramātmahīņ nit dhyāvat. Gyānī brahm dhyān haraṣhāvat.
The yogis meditate on the four-armed form of God in their hearts. The gyānis attain happiness in their meditation on the Impersonal Brahm.
Tin in bāt karan nahiņ bhāvat. Pai un braj-banitani bachharan te, bāt karat tutarāy.
The Supreme Lord does not care to speak to either of them, but in His form as a child, He happily prattles with the calves of the Braj gopis!
Shuk sanakādik dhyān lagāvat. Dhyān lagāy samādhi bulāvat.
The great paramahamsas like Shukdeva, Sanak and so on, remain absorbed in meditation on the impersonal Brahm and hope to get absorbed in a state of Divine trance in that Brahm. The Supreme Lord feels too ashamed and embarrassed to enter their minds in that state of trance!
Tahaṁ jāvan mahaṁ manahūṁ lajāvat. Pai ‘Kṛipalu’ un Shyāmā jū ko, jāy paloṭat pāy.
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "That same Lord goes to Shyama Ju and feels utterly elated at being given the opportunity to massage Her feet."
