Aho Hari! Ohū din kab aihaiṇ.
(A devotee says:) O my Krishna! When will that day come...
Gāvat gun Gopāl nirantar, dṛigan aśhru barasaihaiṇ.
While remembering Your names and virtues, my eyes will constantly shed the tears of Your love.
Roop mādhurī nishidin dhyāvat, man bhṛiṅgī bani jaihaiṇ.
While meditating on Your sweet Divine form day and night, my whole being will become the embodiment of Your love just like a bhringi.
Bāṭ nihāri tihārī pal pal, kalap samān janaihaiṇ.
While impatiently looking to the path of Your arrival, a moment of delay will seem to extend to eons in Your separation.
Hāy! Hāy! Kari it ut bhājat, nij tanu sudhi bisaraihaiṇ.
And saying “Ha Krishna!’ ‘Ha Krishna!” (in love-stricken grief and running and wandering here and there in Braj) I will lose my body consciousness.
Yah ‘Kripalu’ jiyaṇ param bharoso, kabahūṁ to Hari apanaihaiṇ.
I fully believe that one day my Krishna will surely (come to me and) make me His own forever.
