This series of lectures was given by Swami Nikhilanand in the Hanuman Mandir in New York in August, 2012. In it, he explains the 3 paths to God as told by the Hindu scriptures: karm, gyan and bhakti. In part 2, he explains that where the Hindu scriptures criticize the path of karm, it is for that karm which is bereft of bhakti, because bhakti is the only thing that can take a soul to God. And where there is praise for the path of karm, it is for that karm which is done with the attachment of the mind in God (bhakti). Such karm is called karm yoga.
