Shyāmā Shyām sharaṇ gahu re man!
(A devotee addresses to his mind and says:) O my mind! Fully surrender yourself to Shyama Shyam.
Yugal mādhurī dhyān dhare ur, gāu nām gun rahu Vṛindāvan.
Remember the sweet Couple (Radha Krishn) in your heart, sing Their name and virtues, and live in Vrindaban.
Sakhī-bhāv santan anugat hai, prēm-sudhā piu lahu jīvan-dhan.
Following the instructions of the Saints of gopi bhao, drink the nectar of Divine love and receive the true wealth of human life.
Hvai niṣhkām, dhām niṣhṭhā gahi, gahvar ban bicharahu Govardhan.
Being selfless and having faith in Their abode (that Radha Krishn are always there) wander in the leela places of Braj, Gahvarban, Govardhan, etc., and,
Bharibhari aṅk latan, ānaṅd-jal, jharjhar jhari lāvahu janu sāvan.
(Remembering the loving plays of Radha Krishn and thinking that They walked on these grounds,) embrace the trees and plants of Their leela places and aspiringly shed tears of love and longing (with a desire in your heart to visualize those leelas that happened over there).
Imi ‘Kṛipālu’ madamatt rain din, nit nav ras chākhahu manbhāvan.
In this way, taste the ever- new Bliss of your own liking drowned in Their love day and night (and vividly dreaming about Their leelas in ecstasy).
