Gurudev sharaṇ meṁ āī, ab to lo mohiṁ apanāī.
O my Divine Master, I have completely surrendered to You, please accept me now..
Kachhu bheṭ saṅg nahiṁ lāī, khālī jholī lai āī.
I have come without bringing any gift for you. I have come only with an empty container in my hand (to beg).
Aṁsuvan mālā lai āī, do bigṛī morī banāī.
I have come with a garland of tears. Please mend my ruined luck.
Mohiṁ bhukti mukti nahiṁ bhāī, chah Yugal charan sharaṇāī.
I desire neither material opulence nor liberation. I want only the shelter of your lotus feet.
Lakh chaurāsī chali āī, kahuṁ palahūṁ kal nahiṁ pāī.
I have been rotating in the 8.4 million species of life since eternity. I didn’t find not a single moment of peace anywhere.
Māyā ne Hari bisarāī, Guruwar ne yād dilāī.
Maya made me forget God, but my Gurudev mercifully reminded me.
Māyā ne mār lagāī, Guruwar ne kaṇṭh lagāī.
This maya has made me suffer immensely but now my Divine Master has accepted me.
Māyā ne pyās baṛhāī, Guruwar ne pyās bujhāī.
Under the bondage of maya, I remained thirsty for more and more of worldly pleasures but my Divine Master gave me the true happines of divine-love consciousness.
Bhavsāgar thāh na pāī, Guru ne bhavsindhu sukhāī.
I could not find an end to this unfathomable ocean of Maya, but my merciful Gurudev dried it up for me.
Sharaṇāgati rāh dikhāī, Guruwar par bali bali jāī.
I sacrifice myself time again on my beloved Gurudev, who showed me the path of self-surrender.
Jag janami janami dukh pāī, ab Guru kī lai sharaṇāī.
After suffering a lot by taking birth in this world lifetime after lifetime, I have now surrendered myself to my merciful Divine Master.
Tū jā ‘Kṛipālu’ sharaṇāī, Hari parakhat bhuj phailāī.
O souls of the world, surrender to Kripalu Mahaprabhuji, the true Divine Master, and Krishn is just waiting for you with His open arms to embrace.
