Kaliyan-kusum bichhyo naliyan hūṁ, galiyan uḍat gulāl re.
Even the channels lining the roads have filled with flower petals and gulāl is being thrown up in the air, in each and every lane, in celebration to invoke auspiciousness.
Kou kachhu kahat na sunat sabai sudhi, bhūle gwālini gwāl re.
The cowherds and their wives are so overwhelmed with bliss that they are totally unconscious of their own bodies and are neither speaking nor listening to each other!
Mohan-mantra ḍaryo janu Braj mahaṁ, gai sudhi tiya sut bāl re.
It is as if everyone in Braj is under the influence of some enchanting spell - everyone has forgotten their spouse, sons and daughters!
Kahaṁ lauṇ kahiya ‘Kripalu dekh joi, yah sukh, soi behāl re.
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "How much one could say (about the charm of this celebration) except this, that whoever saw that Blissful scene was out of his senses."
