The Search for Happiness is a perfect speech for anyone who is new to the spiritual teachings of Hinduism. In this two part series, Swami Nikhilanand explains the essence of this philosophy with practical logic that relates to our everyday life.
In part one, he discusses the difference between the outer world and our inner world of thoughts, emotions, and desires, as well as the relation between the two. He says that in order to find stable happiness, we must connect to our true Divine self. Only then will we be able to weather the ups and downs of the outer world with confidence and peace of mind. This topic is continued in part 2.
This recording also includes chanting of verses from the Sanskrit scriptures of India, and the chanting of God's Divine names, called kirtan. Swami Nikhilanand also leads the group in a beautiful meditation, called Divine love meditation, or bhakti.
