(A devotee is saying:) O my beloved Nand Kishor Krishn, when will You give me Your darshan (Divine vision)?
lakhi Ghanshyām shyām ghan nachihahiṁ, kab kabai mor bani mor?
O Ghanshyam Krishn! When will my mind dance in the ecstasy of Your love while seeing Your cloud-like dark complexion, like the peacocks who dance in delight when they see the rain clouds in the sky?
kabai dṛigañchal chañchal chañchal, lakhihahu hamarihūṁ or?
O Chanchal (naughty) Krishn! When will You look at me with Your naughty loving eyes?
kab leihau chit chor morahūṁ, Brajbanitani chit chor?
O stealer of Gopis' hearts! When will You steal my heart?
kab Brajvāsini dāsini dāsini, dāsī banihauṁ tor?
O my beloved! When will I become a servant of the servant of one of the Brajwasis who are Your eternal associates (servants)?
kab ‘Kṛipālu’ tanu sudhi bisaraihūṁ, khai ras prem vibhor?
And when will that time come that, thrilled and drowned in Your love, I will lose my body consciousness?
